Digital Inkjet decoration at K Trade Fair in Dusseldorf

The K of Düsseldorf, at its last day of exhibition, is the world’s number one trade fair for plastics and rubber. Visiting the halls and booths, you can see that the packaging decoration in the plastic sector “containers” is constantly evolving. Between the new growing technologies, there is the UV digital inkjet, that combined with the UV LED lamps, permits to obtain a considerable printing definition and further improved then the past.  The market requests to the companies which print containers: smaller production line batch, reduced time to market, zeroing of printing plants costs (machines equipment), achievement of new chromatic effects, in addition to colour hues, that permit to give the Wow effect  engraved in the customer’s mind.

Many manufacturers of silkscreen and dry offset machines have considered the UV inkjet technology. In some cases the manufacturers offer also the UV inkjet technology combined with a traditional silkscreen technology, which permits to provide for some limits that this technology still has.
