Starter Unit for the instant re-lighting (Hot Restrike)
to install togeter with floodlight provided
with double-ended MH lamps.

Symmetric version (high voltage splitted between both of lamp's wires).
The device let to install the Control Gearbox (ballast) far from the floodlight, while the H.R. Unit must be positioned very near the lamp fixture.
No floodlight modifications are needed: the equipment is provided with enough extended cables both for its supply and for HV output. Special HV cables and connections pass through the original connection box provided with the floodlight.
Voltage pulses generator all electronic designed: no air spark-gaps which features could be modified during the starter operating life or by humidity and temperature changes.

1000W 220-240V (50/60Hz) STARTER UNIT ALSO AVAILABLE

3 wires Starter Unit supply (ballast output, 380-415V Direct Phase + Neutral; version 1000W ballast out+phase+neutral).

Installation: near the floodlight; fastening by galvanized bracket.

Main features
All electronic HV pulses generator Starter (no Spark Air-gap).
Automatic lamp ignition and immediate Starter cut-off by Lamp Current Sensor. After about 4 sec. in case of exhausted or defective lamp, the system switches-off and can be resetted only after disconnecting Mains.
Ignition Voltage out: 2 x 25Kv
Max contin. lamp current: 12A.
Enviroment temp. range: min. -30°C max 50°C

WARNINGS
Follow with care the conn. scheme, and control carefully all connections before put the system in function.
HV leads must be as much as possible insulated and protected by approved materials such as teflon, silicone and ceramics. If there are naked parts, it must be observed the air gaps approved by actual standard rules.
To let an easier lamp relighting, use the Nikrome Ignition Wire to apply like in the fig. below.
Replace immediately the lamp if it is exhausted or defective.
