Photo Electronics was founded by Giuseppe Zanardo in 1961, specializing in the production of electronic equipment for photographic laboratories. In 1966 was one of the first companies in Italy to manufacture ultraviolet light systems (with Xenon lamps, then Metallic Alogenes) and also exported to the USA
In 1976 with the opening of the Spare Lamps Center it was possible to find the largest number of UV lamps installed on most Italian and foreign systems, for Graphic Arts.
We proudly show the certificate of the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce in which we certify that we have been exporting to USA since 1966.
Actually it's a company which operates in the engineering industryin Povegliano (Verona). The mission of the company has always been the research for new technologies and solutions applied to two different sectors of business:
- IR/UV CURING BUSINESS: Production of UV-IR dryers FOR Stone Industryand sale of UV and IR spare lamps for all Italian and foreign equipments.Recently our Company has also developed UV lamps with LED technology, which represents the new UV technology of the future.
- LIGHTING BUSINESS: Production of Hot Restrike electronic igniters for discharge lamps for lighting and High Frequency Ballasts 2KW
We are proud to affirm that first in Italy in 1966 we began the production of UV equipments (firstly with Xenon, then with Metal-Halide emitters) and first in Italy in 1976 we created a Spare Lamps Centre for Graphic Arts, where was possible to find most of the lamps installed in Italian and foreign machines.
